This last May, we had amazing weather. I took this rare opportunity (awesome weather on a bank holiday weekend doesn't happen too often, that's for sure) and booked myself some train tickets to Caterbury. Some quality me time in a wonderful medieval town in England.

What is there to see in Canterbury that could be interesting for an art lover?
People who know me are well aware of my sincere love for London. But Caterbury is now close to London in my heart. The Cathedral is impressive. I've probably seen hundreds of cathedrals (mostly in Europe) and I can easily say that the Caterbury Cathedral is great.
The Beanery is a small but very interesting art place. If it is not on your list when you visit Canterbury, it should be.
